The 16th WFHSS World Sterilization Congress, held jointly with the annual conference of the French Association of Hospital Sterilization, AFS, took place from 7 to 10 October 2015 at Lille Grand Palais in Lille, France. The event brought together more than 1,600 professionals and around 100 exhibitors from across the world.
I presented my scientific poster titled CSSD validation review in Iran, Past, present and future. The poster was presented with the affiliation of JAM Sterilization Research Institute and AltonTeb Company.
The poster reviewed the development of validation and assessment in Iranian central sterile services departments. It considered the earlier and current status of CSSDs, changes in education and staffing, operational requirements, and future needs in order to outline a clearer path toward improved quality and safer sterilization processes.
The scientific sessions and specialist exhibition provided a valuable opportunity to review international experience, explore new sterilization and packaging technologies, and exchange ideas with professionals in the field.
This participation was one of my early steps in bringing Iranian experience into the international sterilization community and developing scientific connections with global specialists and professional associations.
